2009-2010年度
畢業生黃小珠感謝辭

Vote of Thanks
Mrs So, Miss Law, School Managers, Guests of Honor, Principal Dr Ng, Parents, Teachers and Fellow schoolmates,

Thank you for coming to our Graduation Ceremony. I am honored to be the representative of all the Form 5 and Form 7 graduates, to show the greatest gratitude to our teachers and the school on such a special day today.?

Most of us have spent five to seven years in Law Chan Chor Si College, while some of you may have spent only two. But no matter what diverse experiences we have had, I believe we are all assembled here with thanks and appreciation to our mother school.

Our school puts equal emphasis on students' academic results and their personal development. It has given ample support to help improve students' learning capacity by providing a wide range of learning activities. Meanwhile, students in Law Chan Chor Si College are privileged to have many opportunities to participate in different exchange programs in the Mainland, Taiwan, Australia and America. We are very glad to have these rare opportunities to open ourselves to the world. I am honored to be one of these students. I have learnt a lot more about our motherland after joining an exchange program to Zhou Shan when I was in Form 4. I am still keeping in touch with the friends I have made at that time. It is, undoubtedly, a valuable experience and one of the most treasurable memories in my life. I hope, and I believe more and more students will benefit from the exchange programs in the coming years.

Our school also encourages us to develop our individual potentials. This can be proved by the various extra-curricular activities the school is providing. I can still vividly remember the game booth we set for the English Activity Day. We had to be in-charge of the design of the game, as well as the setting up and operation of the booth, just like running a business. How excited we were when flocks of students came to our booth and played the game we created. Teaching them how to play our game made me understand how demanding and challenging it is to be a teacher. I appreciate this good opportunity to equip myself with skills and qualities that we need when working in the society.

I love our school, and I truly feel how fortunate students in Law Chan Chor Si College are, to be able to study in such an ideal campus with all these comprehensive facilities. Here I would like to give my heartfelt thanks to our school, especially to our respected teachers. Although we may sometimes have led to disappointments to teachers, they have never given us up. Each of the supplementary materials they tailor-made for us and every minute they spent with us, they all show the sacrifice of our teachers. I realized how lucky we are to have such caring teachers, and I suppose many of you would feel the same. For me, they are not only dedicated teachers who teach us knowledge, but also our parents who care and love us.

Today is a great opportunity for all of us to offer our blessings and gratitude to our school and teachers. Thank you Miss Law and school managers, Principal and teachers! Without your guidance and patience, we could never be what we are today. Thank you for everything you have done for us. Your encouragement and blessings will surely be a lamp in darkness, which gives us courage, hope and power, and illuminate our future.

We have gained so much in these school years. And it’s time for us to leave and contribute. We understand that lives in the society are much harder than that in school, but we will never forget what we have learnt. With the good qualities teachers have equipped us, we are confident and courageous to face the upcoming challenges.

Once again, on behalf of all the graduates, I would like to thank our dear principal and teachers for your endeavors. I also wish graduates here every success and a fruitful future full of health and happiness. Thank you.
