Vote of Thanks
Good morning Professor Chan, Miss Law, Directors, Guests-of-honour, Dr Ng, Teachers, Parents and Schoolmates,

I am honored to represent all Form 7 graduates to show our greatest gratitude to our school today.

Today is a milestone for all of us. It is the 10th Anniversary of the school and our graduation ceremony. Having studied here for seven years, we have witnessed the development of the school along with our personal growth. A decade ago, our school was still new and green in the neighborhood. Today, with the efforts of the school staff, parents and students, our school has earned a good reputation in Kowloon Bay.

Our school is a lot like a huge stage, a place that allows us to shine at any place. Some of us sang and danced in the limelight, while at the backstage, some of us were musicians who composed songs. Student Union candidates had heated debates in the covered playground, while prefect leaders were serving the school. While the athletes represented our school in competitions, the academically inclined ones stayed in the library for self-study. More than that, with the vast support of our school, the stage even expanded to the international level. Many of us became exchange students to China, Canada, Australia and the USA which gave us a chance to savour foreign culture. Our school definitely provides enormous opportunities for us to shine on our stage.

Behind the scenes, there is always a team supporting us, guiding us and equipping us with knowledge in many ways. This is the moment to acknowledge their hard work and show our appreciation. Thank you to Yan Chai Hospital and directors for your generous scholarship and unlimited support. Thank you, teachers, for not losing faith in us, no matter how mischievous we were, and more than that, for not giving up on us. Thank you, parents, for raising us without complaints and sacrificing your freedom in helping us to realize our dreams. Thank you to all the staff of LCCSC, for the smooth operation of the school. Thank you, janitors, for maintaining a clean and learning environment for us. Last but not least, thank you friends, for staying with us through ups and downs. There are many secret angels serving us and protecting us in the shadows. Their dedication is integral in helping us graduate.
We are now at a crossroads heading to different directions in search of our next stage. It is the time we leave the school and be away from our dearest classmates and teachers. No matter how far apart we are from our school and schoolmates, these precious memories are going to link us together. No matter good or bad, the time at school will be one of the most priceless assets in our lives. The completion of Form Seven, not only earned us a certificate, but friendship, courage, confidence, team spirit, responsibility, leadership, as well as the passion for serving the community. We will lift up the spirit of Yan Chai Hospital- serving the community as well as the four core values when we further our studies and enter the workforce.
Finally, I would like to ask all the students, especially the Form Seven graduates, to give a round of applause to express our gratitude to everyone who helped us, including those who are unable to join us today.

I wish you every success and a bright future and hope we will see each other again soon. Thank you.
