中二E班學生黃穎欣同學於本年參加了本館舉辦的「建國六十周年書籤設計比賽」獲得初中組 亞軍。

國際聯校學科評估2009
在本年度3月份分別有51位同學及43位同學，參加中一至中四級國際聯校學校評估數學科及科學科評估，當中共獲取43項良好獎、14項優異獎及3項高級優異獎，整體的平均得分亦高於全港水平。
其中3A班黎昊添同學、3A班董頌文同學及4D班呂雅欣同學在數學科評估中取得高級優異獎。高級優異獎是頒給在全港考生考獲頭1%水平的同學。
